Focused tools for underserved B2B markets

WorkTickets is built and operated by Rovaryn Digital Inc..

Why we built it

Owners and GMs at 5–50 employee CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, plastics fabrication, and light-assembly job shops build quotes from feel and memory, and never capture actuals at the operation level. The result is that nobody knows which jobs actually made money until year-end tax prep, if ever.

Two more costs run alongside it. No one can answer “where is job 4471?” without walking the floor. And scrap or rework is never attributed to the operation that caused it, so the same error recurs job after job.

These shops have already looked at the answer the software industry offers them. Full ERP — JobBOSS2, ProShop — bundles inventory, purchasing, and scheduling they do not want, at $12,000–$20,000 in first-year cost for a five-user deployment, with an implementation project attached. They evaluated it and declined, on cost and on implementation burden, and went back to paper travelers and spreadsheets.

WorkTickets is the narrow execution-and-costing layer that was missing from that choice: routing, traveler, operation-level clock-in, live WIP, and actual-vs-quoted job costing — priced for the shop that already said no to ERP, and scoped so it can be running by the end of the week rather than the end of the quarter.

Who builds it

Rovaryn Digital Inc. builds focused software for B2B markets that larger vendors serve only as an afterthought. WorkTickets sits in the manufacturing line of that portfolio, alongside tools for the same shop floor — deliberately fenced products rather than one sprawling suite competing with itself.

How we work

Four commitments

  • Narrow beats broad

WorkTickets does routing, travelers, clock-in, and job costing. It does not do inventory, purchasing, or scheduling. A tool that does one job well is one a shop can actually adopt in a week.

  • Adoption is the product

Operation-level costing only works if operators actually clock in. That is why one-tap kiosk clock-in is the design centre of the whole system rather than a checkbox on a feature list.

  • Numbers over narrative

Every claim on this site is a number you can check against your own shop: hours per week, dollars per year, percentage of labor spend. If a figure is an estimate, we say so.

  • Your data stays yours

WIP and job-costing data exports as CSV on every tier, and stays available for 90 days after cancellation. No lock-in built on making export hard.

Try it on your own jobs

Build a routing, print a traveler, and clock in — the whole loop, on your shop's real part numbers.
